Mother-Daughter Beginning Beading
Share the fun and learn how to bead! A great way for those stay-indoor-winter days. You'll not only learn the basics of bead stringing, but just may find a new way to "connect". Kits are available -- tailored and stylish for Mom, fun and stylish for Daugher. Of course, this class is also open to anyone who would like to learn the basics of bed stringing. Tools also available for your use. |
Bevy of Beads Bracelet
Thursday, February 5, 6-8 pm Using strictly seed beads, learn the ladder stitch for a bracelet base and embellish the top with a variety of beads. (Not necessarily those in the picture, however). This is definitely not a new style, but one that beaders love doing, since it's a great way to put to use all those stray beads in your stash. Kits provided at the class or e-mail me (beadneeds@sbcglobal.net) for a supply list, if you'd like to use beads of your own. Enrollment: Min. 5, Max. 10 Kit fee is $20. If purchasing a kit, bring sharp scissors, Berkley Fireline 6# test, and a #10 or #12 beading needle. Feel free to bring table top lamps and/or magnifying devices. |

Finishing Multi-strand Bracelets
Tuesday, February 17, 6-8 pm Now that you've mastered basic stringing, learn how to finish a multi-strand bracelet, using a bead cone. Students provide the beads and supplies for this class, since this relies more on personal preference, or you may have a design in mind that you would like to execute. E-mail me (beadneeds@sbcglobal.net) for a generic supply list or tell me about your design idea. You will then receive a more specific list for your particular design. This is a great class that will help more with your designing capabilities. Enrollment: Min. 5 Max. 12 |
